BLS for HealthCare Provider Course:
This is a classroom based course which covers adult and pediatric CPR (including bag-valve-mask and 2-rescuer scenarios), foreign body airway obstruction, and use of AED with CPR.

Audience:
Any healthcare provider
Ex: EMS personnel, physician assistants, physicians, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and others who must have a card documenting successful completion of this course for employment

Provider/Refresher Group Class: $50 Group BLS classes are scheduled the first Wednesday of every month from 9:00am to 1:00pm in classroom 1.  This course takes 4 hours and is for providers and refreshers.  Please note we cannot register you over the phone for these courses.  At the time of registration we will take payment and give you a book and CD.  American Heart Association requires that you obtain a book and CD to review prior to the course.  These books are lent to students from our library and are to be returned upon attendance to the class.  

Off-Site Group Classes:
For an additional $10/person we are able to bring CPR courses to your facility for a minimum of 8 students.  This allows our experienced instructors to bring real life scenarios based on your facility into the classroom for your employees.  Please contact us for more information regarding off-site courses.  (Please note there may be an additional instructor fee if your facility is a substantial distance from the Academy.)

Private Classes:

At the convenience of our students we also offer private BLS classes.  These classes are scheduled between are normal business hours and at the schedule discretion of the instructor and student.  Private refresher classes are 2 hours and private provider classes are 4 hours.  The cost is $70 and you must come in to register prior to the day of class.  Please note we cannot register you over the phone for these courses.  At the time of registration we will take payment and give you a book and CD.  American Heart Association requires that you obtain a book and CD to review prior to the course.  These books are lent to students from our library and are to be returned upon attendance to the class.
