Thoughts on Education
"I LOVE working with the entry level First Responders and Basics. There is a true energy that comes from their desire and zeal. On the first day of a new class, when we've really worked on CPR, I can see the students are glowing with anticipation of what the EMS field holds for them. Nothing gives me more pride than knowing that students I helped train in their Basic class have succeeded in the field. I get many phone calls from past students telling me of their triumphs. I am happy that the main goal of the Academy is to turn out QUALITY, not quantity, EMTs."
