The current EMT class is in the process of taking FISDAP tests. So what the heck is that and why take it. Well, FISDAP stands for Field Internship Student Data Acquisition Project, and I have never heard anyone call it that; it is always just FISDAP. FISDAP was originally started in 1996 to study the field internship experiences of EMT students. From those humble beginnings, FISDAP has grown to include testing, scheduling, sharing data with Educators, to name a few of the services. One of the primary goals for our EMTs is to take tests that replicate the style of questions asked on the National Registry test. Reading the questions correctly can be half the battle in National Registry. So, they are soldiering on, graduation is in sight.student
